Penguin Ice's new Reverse-Osmosis System uses 350 lbs. of pressure to push water through five different types of filters. The water first enters a Carbon Filter, heading on to the Pre-Filter. After the Pre-Filter, the water then goes through a series of six more filters before being frozen into cubes. Penguin Ice discards approximately 1.5 gallons of water for each gallon used after the filtering process. After filtering, the water has been stripped of every impurity including chlorine and fluoride. Penguin Ice is committed to providing the cleanest, clearest Ice possible.
